As planned i went to the Library found some appropriate books for my Design and make module. Spending time in the library wasn't as scary as i thought, and when i established roughly the right section for DT i was a lot more confident about making more use of the library in the future. An advantage of using the library is the information i have acquired is more likely to be correct as opposed to using the internet where any moron can put up what they like true or false.
After finding some interesting books in the library i thought it would be a useful and helpful idea to keep a bibliography. This would help with future learning and create a valuable resource of books which i feel are helpful and could recommend to other students!
Where next with Research?
For my Design and make project i have only used secondary research and think i need more of a balance, i am going to try and collect some 'Primary research' maybe in the form of a questionnaire? or first hand investigation into my chosen area or client. Doing so should give me a better platform to work on later on in the design process.
