I thought I had exhausted 2Design and didn't really rate it as a CAD program. I had only created 2D designs in this program and thought id try creating a 3D model to see how easy it was and how well the drawings come out.
I was actually pleased with the results and realised that there was a lot on 2Design I hadn't done such as applying textures and working with 3D shapes. It was not as accurate and very limited compared to other programmes however it was sufficient enough for what I needed. As I was creating flat pieces which fold together I thought I would save myself the Headache of using solid works as it wasn't necessary.
I do feel that despite not needing to use Solid works and Creo I probably should have used it. I have used Solid works and creo and feel i could open it up and design something however definitely need to revisit them to become more comfortable with using it. what has also prevented me from using solid works and Creo is I don't like them. Ive experienced it myself and seen everyone using these programmes tearing their hair out and having melt downs, which would put anyone off. But i guess at least they are using the program instead or running away from it.
Why I need to be friends with Solid works and Creo
Over the summer create something specific on Solid works and Creo in preparation for next year! ..... Its for my own good!!

Why I need to be friends with Solid works and Creo
- They could be using it in a school i go to and will need to use it
- I am limiting myself just using 2Design (there are things it cant do!)
- I need to be more flexible with CAD software as it changes and need to be competent with a variety of programs to be able to adapt to new ones.
