As I mentioned in my Visual communication section I have incorporated ITC in areas of my design work and feel that can make effective use of it.
I feel that despite being rather confident in this area I have experienced a lot of new programmes and technologies over the past year and have come along way, especially with regards to CAD software where initially I didn't even really know what it was.
I have also been surprised by my reactions to certain programmes. At the beginning of this section I described my self as Confident with ITC. Over the past year however, I have been unconfident and scared of ICT at during the course. This is also a problem I need to tackle head on as im going to come across programmes I don't know how to use in the future. I think a contributing factor to this FEAR was that as this course is so intense and there are so many things to be be doing I didn't feel like I had time to fully explore programmes and spend hours working out how they works. I do think however that I have a basic understanding of how to use these 'feared programmes' I just need to have a bit more a practice with them.
Despite these problems the amount of ITC i am competent in outweighs the ones i am a little bit lacking in. The title of this section is called 'General use of ITC' ... and i feel my general use of itc is very good so have awarded myself 4 Stars
