I am am aware of the meanings of these two terms:
Anthropometric data- Measurements of the Human body and how it moves
Ergonomic data - Science of people and how they interact with their environment (such as the work place)
The data taken from these two have to be taken into account and used to make products more usable and comfortable. For example Train seats are designed to be a certain height, width and depth. the back of the seat is curved to be more comfortable for peoples backs to rest on, the seat arms are at a particular height and a certain length based on average human measurements.
