"A design brief is something that is vital to any design project as it will provide the designer(s) with all the information needed to exceed your expectations".
I feel fairly confident with this section as I have worked to and written my own design briefs since school. The briefs and specifications i have experience in the past have been art and designed based which have been rather open to interpretation and not hung up on details such as measurements.
Where I would like to take this subject area and why it would help improve my skills:
- Clear and precise (In the past i have used too much unnecessary detail in my brief and think by paying closer attention to the quality of what I write would improve my brief considerable)
- I need to learn to create a good DT Brief and specification. (i have never had to use specific measurements and dimensions in a specification and will need to get to grips to be being more precise with details/data
